Free 24 Hour Snapshot We provide an agent to install on a Windows or Apple machine at home. We run tests periodically to check the performance of your computer and your network. See the table below for the things we test and for links to more detailed blog posts. When you install the agent you provide us with an email address and 24 hours after installing the agent we will email you a PDF report showing the performance of your home tech-environment over that 24 hour period. You will see the differences in performance during peak and off peak times, when the kids are home or out and any other peaks, throughs and anomalies during the 24 hour snapshot period. You can use this report to narrow down any performance bottlenecks or forward it to your ISP or work-related IT support people to see if they can guide you further too. This service is completely free and is offered as part of our desire to help as many people as possible towards more satisfying tech experiences. All we ask is that if you feel the information would be of use to your employer or your ISP, that you forward the report to them along with your recommendation that they contact us to explore a paid subscription so you can benefit from the measures. Of course you are welcome to upgrade from the free trial to a paid residential service at any time too!

Each day we will send you a PDF report by email detailing the week to date performance of your home tech-environment. As well as variations during the day, you will see differences from one day to the next and patterns will emerge. You can use this report to narrow down any performance bottlenecks or forward it to your ISP or work-related IT support people to see if they can guide you further too. This service is provided at a very low price of just $9 for the 7 Day Assessment - again we are trying to keep the costs low to help people striving for more satisfying at-home tech-experiences. We do ask that if you feel the information would be of use to your employer or your ISP, that you forward the report to them along with your recommendation that they contact us to explore a paid enterprise or service-provider subscription so you can benefit from them seeing these measures too. Of course you are welcome to upgrade from the 7 Day Assessment to an Annual Watch service at any time too!

Ongoing Residential Watch: We provide the same type of agent for your Windows or Apple computer at home and run the same tests as the 7 Day Assessment service above but we add in a more detailed network uptime test as well as the abiity for your agent to keep testing your network connection during outages. More details of these tests can be found in the comparison table below. During the first week we will send you a daily PDF report by email detailing the week to date performance of your home tech-environment. After the first 7 days, we will change the frequency of the report to weekly. As well as variations during the day, you will see differences from one day to the next, one week to the next and in longer term trends across the weeks. Patterns will emerge. You can use this report to narrow down any performance bottlenecks or forward it to your ISP or work-related IT support people to see if they can guide you further too. This service is provided at a very low price of just $99 for the whole year - again we are trying to keep the costs low to help people striving for more satisfying at-home experiences. We do ask that if you feel the information would be of use to your employer or your ISP, that you forward the report to them along with your recommendation that they contact us to explore a paid enterprise or service-provider subscription so you can benefit from them seeing these measures too.

Important: Security, Sniffing, Snooping and Stopping: It is important that you feel safe using our services:

  • We always stress that while testing we never look at any of your private information on your computer. We cant see your usage or browsing history.
  • We can't see when you are using your computer, when you are working or what you are doing.
  • We never sniff at your network traffic - we don't write software that can do this - all of our tests synthesise their own traffic.
  • We cannot control or reconfigure your computer. We certainly cannot install any new programs on your computer.

There are other solutions from other companies that do all of these things but that but we don't and won't write software that can do any of them and won't support an employer or service-provider that wants us to do that.

At any time you can uninstall our agent and service - you don't need us to do that for you - you are in control.

We do not share your signup contact details with anyone outside of our company without your express permission.
